As of the end of January, there are new trees in the SF Snoqualmie River in North Bend.
The first one you will see is in the open area of the river in the mile 2 zone. On a left bend, where trees colllect most years, there is a huge tree blocking much of the river. It is oriented straight downstream with the large root wad at the upstream end. The is enough room on the inside(left) to pass by it without danger, as the current is mild in this area. We saw it Jan 26 at about 600cfs. There are a few other new tree accumulations downstream, but none block the obvious channel. Mike Grijalva
