Sea Kayaking Trips

Rosario Exploration
David Ortland
Hey paddlers,
It looks like we need a trip on the calendar, so here's an idea:
Sunday Nov 1: Washington Park north into Rosario Strait.  Visit James Island, skirt up the spectacular east side of Blakely I.  and maybe have lunch at the wonderful marina lunch counter if it is open.  From there, we can go where whim takes us and the weather allows:  perhaps a bit further north along Orcas, then doubling back along the west side of Cypres.  Or perhaps continuing on to the Orcas ferry dock and getting a free ride back.  If interested, sign up on the we site and I'll get back to you with more details.

Interested &  hopeful about learning/ practicing skills. This south sounder might just live a bit too far. Keep me posted

Enjoy it all, JoAnn

Are you interested in the wind/waves, Rosario trip or both? I put you
on the new list for waves practice, note that there are a lot of S
Sounders responding! Hope you can make it for the Rosario trip. I am
contemplating a sleepover up that way myself, may require an early-ish
launch since daylight is diminishing rapidly. It could just be a
fantasy anyway, long term weather model runs have us getting hammered
around then. In which case we'll go somewhere closer instead!

Wind and waves only.  I'll be doing an ACA L5 assessment next saturday.

Sounds like a good time so yes to
Wind and waves. What time are you
planning to launch next week for the
Rosario Exploration?

Sounds like a great trip, unfortunately I will be working. Geraldine

Good morning!

I'm very interested but work until 3:30 that day. Is there any chance that I would still be able to make it?

Chris
