Cedar River Slalom (#2) – 2017 NW Whitewater Cup #9
November 4-5, 2017.
OPEN TO ALL PADDLERS!
Location: where the Issaquah-Hobart road crosses the Cedar River at Landsburg Park, near Maple Valley, WA (River Mile 22).
Course: class II+
Classes: by gender, age, and type of boat (both plastic and raceboat classes, decked and open boats)
Cost: $20.00 for the weekend ($15.00 for Saturday only even if you don’t race)
Prizes: Worth staying for!
SATURDAY SCHEDULE
9am to 6pm (approx.) - Race Registration and Signing of WKC Activity roster
All Day – course open for slalom practice Please register and sign waiver before getting on water. Permanent site; gates there. Course to be set on Friday.

Slalom is good from 250-1,600 cfs. No downriver if flow is below 800 cfs and Race Director is forecasting a flow between 350 and 500, and how could she be wrong??
Hey, open boaters! MT Canoes will be there this weekend with open canoes to demo.
6:00 PM no-host Social Dinner at restaurant in Issaquah!
SUNDAY SCHEDULE (daylight savings time – so one hour earlier!)
9:30 AM - Mandatory Racer’s Meeting
10:30 – 12:00 Morning runs
1:00 - 2:30 Afternoon runs
3:30 (approx.) - Awards Ceremony
PARKING – either side of the road. Access top of course from Landsburg Park river right. Restrooms there. Take-out trails downstream of bridge at end of course at start of Cedar River Regional trail. No camping at site.
CAMPING
