The NDK Romany Explorer has set the standard for expedition sea kayaks. It is comfortable for long days on the water, tracks excellently, and handles all sea conditions well. The Romany Explorer is easily controlled in wind with a minimum of weather cocking even in strong winds. The kayak has a low rear deck for easy rolling, a keyhole cockpit that gives excellent grip, control and allows quick exit. It's a long term boat for the active paddler. Built in compass, 3 bulkhead compartments including a day hatch, rope controlled skeg. Length overall is 17' 6” and width of 21.5.”
