Launch from Bowman Bay, Paddle into Deception Pass on the flood and out on the ebb.

This is a trip for intermediate and advanced paddlers, or recent graduates of the beginner class with permission from leader.


Warning! Strong Currents and Eddylines. Good edging and rescue skills and appropriate gear are a must. Please contact trip leader if you have any questions about whether this will be a good trip to go on.

Details will be emailed before trip, but plan to launch about 9am from Bowman Bay and be back to vehicles around 6pm.

Drysuits, helmets, and sea kayaks with decklines and flotation or bulkheads required.
