Trip Planning Party: January 21, 2023!! The day will start with a class II / II+ run on the Headworks Section of the Green River meeting at Kanasket Palmer at 10:30 am. After that (about 3 pm), we’ll convene at lowercase brewing in Georgetown to grab some beverages, eat some pizza, and plan some trips for 2023!

We’d love it if you could join us for the party, the paddle, or both!  Don’t worry if you’re not a “trip leader," as this is a great chance to catch up and connect after a very dry winter and get stoked for the new WKC class and spring paddling. Come and meet some of the WKC trip leaders, share your ideas for what kind of events you’d like to see this year, eat pizza, win prizes, chat with fellow classmates, swap swim stories, and maybe consider helping the new students in class or afterward by offering to organize an easy river trip.

The goal is to fill up the 2023 calendar with some trips for the new class, some fun community-building events (like Amy’s awesome Halloween Headhunt), share ideas for clinics or multi-day trips (Wenatchee weekend? Boofs clinic on the Kalama?) and most importantly, a great chance to hang out as a community on dry land.

Hope to see you there! Any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to me at alder.anastasia@gmail.com
