Paddle Padilla Bay Saturday, Dec. 22nd, hoping to spot some wintering birds.

9:00am: Launch from Bay View State Park, 10901 Bayview Edison Rd. Mt. Vernon, WA 98273

Discovery Pass required.

Head NE from Bay View State Park, towards Hat Island to Saddlebag Island for lunch.

Return to Park at 4:00pm – sunset is at 4:15pm and the park closes at “dusk”.

The pace will be 3knots per hour as have limited daylight hours.  We will be travelling a distance of approximately 12-15mile, up to 15knot of wind. SK III. Immersion clothing required – dry suit preferred.
