After work Rescues on Lake Sammamish

About this event

Monday after work rescue practice on the North end of Lake Sammamish. The lake water is wonderfully warm these days. It is a good time to practice rescues with your seakayak or with your recreational kayak. I'll bring out an older, wider, more challenging kayak to rescue to give you a little of a challenge. Never tried to reenter you kayak all by yourself? First time rescuing someone else? Wanno try to rescue a (fake) unconscious person with a scoop rescue? This is the time to play and practice these rescues or just finetune and refresh your favorite rescue technique. If yu can't make it by 4pm, let us know and we will expect you a little later.

Personal Flotation Device (PFD) and basic swimming skills are required for participants in this practice session.
