A friend and I were planning to take a trip down the John Day river in mid-July but in looking at the predicted flow it doesn't look possible. Looking for suggestions for a 2/3/4 day paddle and camping excursion. Really want to keep it to class I or II and ideally in Washington although northern OR would be ok. Would like to do the trip in sea kayaks or a canoe.

Would appreciate any suggestions.
