Interest in the River Elf, a composite kayak made ...
Author Last Post

We have the C2, the Storm Giant. The brothers behind River Elf, Chris and Trevor Soileau, I know them from when they paddled slalom C2 and I was training for C1. They do amazing composite work. These boats are very durable for composite boats, much more so than race boats, and if you know how to patch if necessary, will last longer than a plastic boat with normal use. They also are comparatively light since Trevor and Chris vacuum bag them so there is no extra resin. I also REALLY like the C2 design, and am really picky with my boat designs after so many years of slalom racing. Please feel free to ask any further questions.

Here is a little fun footie from the lower White Salmon last summer with the boys and my parents R2-ing a Puma. - https://youtu.be/m6TirMUh-bU

If any one has a River Elf or has paddled one, I would like to hear your opinion of the kayak on white water runs and its durability.
