WKC Whitewater Grand Canyon Trip Join WKC for a photo tour of the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. Chris Weiss is a local Washington boater who just completed his seventh trip through the Canyon. Trained as a Swiftwater Rescue Technician 3, Chris has served as safety kayaker, potato peeler, Trip Leader, and in various other roles making his way down the 225-mile run through some of World’s oldest exposed rock formations and some of our finest whitewater. Chris will recount tales from beneath the rim, and answer questions about one of life’s truly great adventures.
