About this event
I last paddled this stretch in May 2021 and wood in the river was reasonably straightforward to avoid, but rivers change and this stretch has a reputation for trees spanning the river- no scouting since last wind storm.
The cedar is a lovely river, with remarkably long stretches without much development considering how close it is to town. Our purpose is to see the sights.
While this is class 2+, excellent maneuvering skills may required to avoid logjams and other hazards.
