Epic GPX with custom drop-down skeg. Performance layup (fiberglass, carbon fiber, and Kevlar) 32.5 lbs. Two bulkheads with one rear hatch. Sterling Kayaks installed the skeg for $900. I have used this kayak in Puget Sound, Neah Bay, and the Columbia River. It surfs, tracks, and maneuvers well under challenging conditions. Stability is solid. I am 76 years old, 5'11 ", and 155 lbs. I maintain a cruising speed of 3.7 knots. The kayak rolls easily with the original seat. With the extra seat I made for my comfort, I must use a forward finishing roll. I wear size 12 booties. It's a tight fit. I patched the tip of the bow more than a year ago and have resealed a bulkhead. Both repairs have held up. The bottom of the kayak is in good condition. The cat head is a decal that can be removed. The hatch cover design is painted on. I live in Black Diamond.
The inside cockpit is 35.5 inches long.
Boat length is 12'11".
Width is 25".
