We&#39;ll practice basic kayaking skills and rescues (assisted and self). We&#39;ll work on kayaking techniques and control skills during the paddle.<br /><br />The bay is typically well protected which gives us good options to experience varying levels of conditions.<br /><br />Bring kayak, paddle, pfd, paddle float, bilge pump and signed waiver if you&#39;ve not paddled with us before. please plan on getting wet/immersed and dress accordingly.<br /><br />Please arrive at least 30 mins before start time to unload, prep, park.<br /><br />Parking at the bottom of the hill by the REI boathouse, park on the left side away from the water.<br /><br />If you are renting, rent the longer 14 ft plus boats if possible.
