The WA Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is conducting an analysis of the ecological and conservation values of the Elwha watershed on state-owned lands managed by DNR.

PLEASE take the time to respond to their survey, because the outcome is critical for residents and visitors. It’s a water source, and the watershed and adjacent surroundings must be protected from clear cutting in certain areas and from drilling for oil, mining minerals, and industrial development, such as data centers, in all areas. There’s even a question where you can add specific sites or areas that you value.
