About this event
Adult CPR and Basic First Aid 2023:
WKC is excited to offer its members a custom CPR/FA course lead by Don Cheytte.
The course will offer
- An in-person skills session.
- Class will be approx 4.5 hours
Also, while AED testing is required for certification, our instructor, Don Cheytte, will modify the CPR/FA class to consider our wilderness setting scenarios, along river banks, on shore, at sea.
Class will cover:
***Adult CPR, with minimal required AED exposure
***Basic First Aid
***Training will also include managing drowning victims.
Learn how to assess for drowning victim, when to deliver rescue breathes and learn when not to deliver chest compressions.
***Students will receive electronic certification cards and an electronic student handbook. Students will have free access to replacement card.
Cost:
The course is $95. If you lead a trip, or run a clinic in 2023, you will receive a $30 reimbursement
Class size is limited to 15 people.

Cancellation Policy:
Once your course registration is confirmed, and the instructor sends out the online portion of the class, all fees are non-refundable. However, if we are able to fill your spot on the roster, from the waitlist prior to the instructor sending out the online version, we will refund your course registration fees only.
