New to or curious about whitewater Slalom?  Want to improve your river-running technique?  Want to make a stretch of whitewater you're comfortable on more challenging?  This intro clinic will cover the basics of slalom kayaking, with a focus on efficient paddling technique and precision boat control and will include a ton of useful drills and tricks for added challenge.  The day will finish by setting a short slalom course, talking about river-running sand slalom strategy and then you will test your newfound boat control skills by running a series of gates.  All boat types welcome:  best for river-runners, half-slices, or creek boats (Coaches will be in plastic boats).
