WKC FALL CEDAR SLALOM RACE class II

			About this event
The Waiver you sign with registration includes both Adult and Minor waivers.  It's a good idea to have minors read and discuss if you feel it is appropriate.  Remember, each family member should be signed up separately so there is a waiver for each.
Saturday (Nov 2 ) is practice all day.  The course will be set by Friday.  The gates will  actually be pretty close to what it will be on race day earlier in the week, so practice all you want!
NOTE:  You do NOT need to register for the WKC slalom practice "event" on Nov 2 if you register to race, but no problem if you already did.  New this year - any racer 17 years old OR YOUNGER, will race for free.
Interested in a clinic?  See WKC event calendar for October 27 and November 2nd.
SUNDAY
Racer's meeting at 10:00 - you must attend!  You'll get your bib there!
Race will start at 11:00 or maybe a little before if we have a full house so be ready.
Racer's will be divided into 2 groups.  You"ll learn the groups and get your bib at the Racer's Meeting.  One group will race  11-12:30 (ish) and one will race 1:30-3:00 (ish).    Each racer gets 2 timed runs.  Only your best one counts!  You will either race in the morning or the afternoon -- you may be asked to volunteer when you're not racing:  to judge or time.  Race Order will be decided the day of.    Once all the results are posted, we will give out prizes!  They are especially good this year -- don't miss out.  Oh yes, there will also be chocolate chip cookies.  Can't break tradition........
Camping available 8 miles away at Kanasket-Palmer State Park
