Welcome to the Fourth Annual Headhunt on Headworks, Green River Washington!
Numbered skulls will be placed in the river by our Grim Reaper for kayakers to retrieve & exchange for prizes. Along with some raffle baskets with items donated by the paddling community.
Costumes are encouraged as well as proper white water gear and helmets. Keep an eye on our event page on Rally Crew or Facebook to see what donations will be included. There will be a potluck gathering after the run. This is a community building event and fundraiser for Mayday Foundation.
Mayday foundation provides immediate, practical financial support to local families coping with cancer while raising kids at home. We believe that no one should be forced out of their home or into bankruptcy as a result of a cancer diagnosis. Last year we raised over $3800!!!
All monetary donations and proceeds will be given to Mayday Foundation.
There is a $20 entrance fee payable directly electronically on Maydayfoundation.org (Type KAYAK & screen shot your donation receipt to show at the registration table. )
Raffle tickets are $1 each available at the event. Cash only please since we do not have cell service in the park to accept electronic payments.
Please register here on Washington Kayak club to participate in the headhunt. You do not need to be a WKC member to register.

Rules:
Due to insurance reasons each person must sign a liability waiver. Minors must have their guardians sign for them. No dogs or animals allowed.
Day of:
Check in at 9am & shuttle starts at 10:30am. You must be signed in and given a number by 10:30 am to participate. We have 100 skulls and need an accurate person count to divide between the Pods. We will provide shuttle service from the day use picnic area of KP. The design of the shuttle service is to give a little time between pods before they reach the Grim Reaper. Shuttle with the people you want to paddle with and put on together! Please listen to your put in volunteer! After passing the Grim Reaper, proceed to Railroad drop. You may eddy out there and support others by cheering for them.
