YOU MUST COMPLETE ALL 4 STEPS TO REGISTER.  ONE REGISTRATION PER PERSON (INCLUDING MINORS)
1.  Click on Register Now Button
2.  Sign the Waiver
3.  Pay the Fee
4.  Check your email for the Race registration confirmation  AND COMPLETE THE GOOGLE FORM using the link provided



The Waiver you sign with registration includes both Adult and Minor waivers.   Remember, each family member must sign up separately so there is a waiver for each.
 



OPEN TO ALL WHITEWATER BOATS:  OPEN CANOES, PLASTIC KAYAKS, SLALOM KAYAKS AND CANOES, K-2’s, AND IK’S

Saturday:  course open to all.  Participate to hone your river running and/or slalom race skills!

Sunday: Join the race to try your best at fast clean runs, or just to complete the course.  Race classes exist for all boat types.  Join us - Don’t miss out!   Bring your boating buddies, cheer your friends from the bridge above, help out or hang out.

Course:  class II+

Classes:  by gender, age, and type of boat (both recreational (plastic) and race boat (composite) classes)

Prizes:  Worth staying for!    (Everyone is a winner!)


REGISTRATION

PLEASE REGISTER ONLINE, pay and e-sign the liability waiver on the WKC events page and complete the Google Form at the link in the confirmation email.

 

You need to complete the google form so I know what classes you want to race in.  Register before Friday night and you will get the entire weekend and prize for $25!   (add $5 for a 2nd Class).  

FEES:  $25.00 for your first adult class if you register online by April 4 Saturday.  $35 to register on Sunday.   FREE for the weekend for paddlers 18 and under.  $5.00 additional for a 2nd race class.


SATURDAY SCHEDULE

All Day – course open for slalom practice

SUNDAY SCHEDULE  

9:30 AM - Mandatory Racer’s Meeting 

10:30 – 12:00   Morning runs

1:00 - 2:30   Afternoon runs

3:00 - Team runs (free)

4:00 (approx.) - Awards Ceremony

 

CAMPING: 8 miles away at Kanaskat-Palmer State Park

 

 

 


SUNDAY: Racer's meeting at 9:30 - you must attend!  You'll get your bib there! Race will start at 10:30.

Racer's are divided into 2 groups.  You"ll learn the groups and pick up your  bib at the Racer's Meeting.  One group will race 10:30-12:00  and one will race 1:00-2:30 .    Each racer gets 2 timed runs.  Only your best one counts!  You will either race in the morning or the afternoon -- you may be asked to volunteer when you're not racing:  to judge or time.  Race Order will be decided the day of.    Once all the results are posted, we give out prizes!  They are worth waiting for........
Camping available 8 miles away at Kanasket-Palmer State Park.

Race open to paddlers of all genders and ages and for all types of boats
Paddlers required to have proficiency in paddling class 2+ whitewater and to wear lifejacket, helmet and appropriate footwear.
No Whining.

YOU MUST complete the google form in the confirmation email to select the class(es) you'll be racing in to complete the registration process.  If you wish to enter two different classes, you will fill out the Google form twice.  One form per person per class regardless of age.
