Not tomorrow, but Saturday. No time or place set yet, state your
preference. Also will depend on forecast tomorrow. How rough do you
like it?

I'm in. Saturday afternoon?

I would like to suggest that this practice be for all those interested
in developing their comfort level in rough water and their control in
wind. This is best done by stepping out of your comfort level a little
bit at a time, among those who can get you back in your boat quickly.

If interested, let us know where your comfort level is (wind spd/wave
ht) and we'll chose an appropriate location based on the forecast.

Developing skills in and familiarity with such conditions goes a long
way toward building your confidence as a participant in advanced paddles
or (hopefully some day!) as a trip leader. And it is a blast.

Also, you can say that you paddled in a typhoon.

The forecast calls for fools like me to kayak on Saturday.   I'm open to suggestions for destinations, but I was thinking Alki or downwind run(s) on Lake Washington from Renton.  Practice rough water skills and rescues, play, surf.
