On December 7, 2021, three WKC members and Tom O'Keefe with American Whitewater attended a meeting with the USFS about this project. The whitewater boaters' agenda is provided below. The meeting summary is attached as a pdf and can be found in the public documents section on the WKC website.


1. Establish importance of including white water recreation community in future projects


2. Clean up the silt for fish as intended


3. Wall at Gold Basin reach creates danger, downstream logs


4. Guidance on further watchdog enforcement of Shoreline management i.e. both sides of Gold Basin reach new channel losing height/ failed landscape fabric.
