Washington Park to Orcas Ferry

Launch from Washington Park, then:

Option 1)
head up Rosario Strait to Strawberry Island then head to Peavine Pass and lunch at the Blakely marina.

Option2)
head for James Island then through Thatcher Pass to Spencer Spit for lunch.

After lunch, a few more miles through Harney Channel to the Orcas Ferry dock where we'll have some refreshment and return on the 5:15 ferry.  Kayak wheels are required.

Participants must be prepared for paddling 13 nautical miles with current assist. They should be comfortable in 1-2 foot waves and 15 knot winds.   Since the weather is iffy this time of year, I would like to keep option open for paddling Nov 22-24.
