Teanaway (class III)

The Teanaway River that is fed from the majestic Stuart Range.  It's a beautiful class II+ run w/ cool sandstone ledges that create some great surf / playspots.

This run has class II / II+ rapids, but it REQUIRES class III skills to avoid a LOT of wood, huge trees, with not the greatest of eddies throughout.  This is not a river for beginners!  You must be confident with boat handling and know you can put your boat where you want it.  There are also mandatory portages that will be made, it will be an adventure, but a beautiful one in the Teanaway River Valley.

The Teanaway usually always has amazing surf waves, plan to spend the WHOLE day out there.  If you have plans later in the day, do NOT sign up for this trip.  It's an all day adventure and we will not rush because someone has plans later in the day.

Space is limited, due to the size of the river and safety!
