Portage party on the Cedar River -- Landsburg to the golf course.  Class 2+ but not beginner friendly.

This stretch is known to have sweepers and logjams.  This has a short class 2+ section at the top, and the rest is class 2, however you must be able to maneuver quickly to avoid extremely hazardous sweepers and logjams, and expect to portage at least three places. 

The cedar river experienced a major flood in February 2020.  The river changed course in multiple places, toppled many trees into the river, and flooded nearby homes and roads.  It has also had blocking mudslides in 2001 and 2014.  Many flood prone parcels have been purchased by the county and restored to a wilder state.  The purpose of this trip is to tour the changes and see the sights.
