SF Calawah / NW side of the OP weekend (III/IV)

Let’s spend the weekend paddling on the NW side of the Olympic Peninsula.  If river levels cooperate, the plan will be to spend one of the days exploring the SF Calawah, a rarely-seen class III+ (IV) gem in Olympic National Park.  This will be a long day requiring a 3-mile hike to the put-in.  But it’s well worth it to see this amazing run.  The other day will be spent paddling one of the many fun stretches of river in the vicinity.  Caveat…  As is often the case when planning OP river trips in advance, which day we do what (or even whether we get to paddle the intended rivers) is level dependent.  But I’m sure we can find good water somewhere.
