Green River Cleanup - Yoyo class 2
Meet at Flaming Geyser State Park. Be geared up and ready to shuttle by 9am.
Part of Green River Clean Up, an annual joint project of WKC and many other regional clubs. We will boat the river, stopping to pick up trash along the way. This is a fun river stewardship event that typically draws in lots of boaters as well as non-boater friends who help with cleaning up on land. More info here: http://www.greenrivercleanup.org/
This WKC trip is for those wishing to paddle the Yoyo (class 2) section from Flaming Geyser State Park to Whitney Bridge Park. There is a separate WKC trip for other sections.
To paddle with the WKC group, please register here with WKC and *also* with the Clean Up event. You can pre-register for the Clean Up at http://www.greenrivercleanup.org/register-for-the-clean-up/ or register on-site on the day of the event.
Normally a Discover Pass is required to park at Flaming Geyser State Park, but if you tell the ranger you're with the Clean Up then you can park there on this day only without a pass.
