Washington Kayak Club Presents the first event in the 2023 NW Whitewater Cup Series! Open to all whitewater boats, open canoes, plastic kayaks, slalom kayaks and canoes, K-2's, and IK's Shake off the winter rust on the Cedar River Slalom Course! This event is open to all whitewater paddlers with skills to paddle class II+. No previous experience with slalom necessary. See schedule below. Saturday the course is open to all for fun and practice. Feel free to join us even if you can't race on Sunday (although we'll be disappointed...). Sunday it's all about fast clean runs, having fun watching, and cheering on the boating community. There will be race classes for all boat types, gender, and ages. Come. It's super fun to paddle gates, to watch and to race.
