Northern Olympic Peninsula Weekend (Class 2-3)

This weekend is dependent on significant rain by 10/26; this trip has only 50/50 chance of happening due to dry conditions at the time of posting. 

We plan at least one day Sol Duc River, another day on either Calawah, Sol Duc, Hoh, or other Class 2 or 3 river. We can discuss ocean surfing at LaPush or Crescent Bay if the group favors excellent roll / surfing practice.  

Camping at Bear Creek Campground, the free DNR campground next to Hungry Bear RV Park between Hwy 101 and Sol Duc River.

10/29 11am Solduc River: meet at DNR camp site Hwy 101 (will send Waypoint to registrants) 

10/30 Leader's choice based on group desires and conditions

Participants must have appropriate whitewater gear, including float bags for hard shell kayaks.

We follow proper COVID protocols. Please wear a mask when shuttling.
