Cedar Gate Skills for Intermediate Paddlers (II+)

On the Cedar river, we have some slalom gates up to allow practicing ‘must make’ moves on what might otherwise seem an easy rapid. In this practice session, I will introduce whitewater slalom to beginner/intermediate paddlers, and we can test our whitewater skills against the set moves defined by slalom gates. This practice will be focused on making moves, not speed. Come out and prove to yourself that you can put your boat where it needs to be the next time you’re up against that new scary rapid!

This session is perfectly timed so participants can continue on to the Tukwila pool practice!
