Halloween Paddle by Port Orchard! 

Put on your drysuit, costume, tall pointy hat, and deck your kayak out with battery-operated Halloween lights and other decorations! Bring light sticks, too, as we want to be very visible.

With good weather, we will start from Pomeroy Park in Manchester (8067 E Main St.). We will paddle right (south) along the waterfront for about two miles or until the group wants to turn back, then back to Pomeroy Park.

If over 5 MPH winds, alternative paddling site is Long Lake Boat launch (bring your DISCOVER PASS!); address is 4351 Brook St, Port Orchard (if that doesn't work the nearest street address right by it is 6945 Clover Valley Rd SE, Port Orchard.)

This is a freshwater paddle and it's about four miles to go around the lake. Watch out for and avoid lily pads and vegetation growing on the south end of the lake.

We will cancel for pouring rain or high winds over 15 MPH.  Anyone have Halloween songs to serenade the houses? Bring candy to hand out if you want to!
