Please note the different dates for this event below. Discounts will be offered to those who register for all.
This one is for all FOUR classes


Cost: $60 per class, $220 all four classes WKC Members.

          $65.00 per class, $240.00 non WKC Members (Membership to WKC $35.00 per year)


April 16, 23, 30, May 7, Sunday mornings 7:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.

 

WKC’S Roll Clinic is back, and we will be at the EVERGREEN COMMUNITY AQUATIC CENTER, 606 SW 116TH ST. SEATTLE, WA this year.

There will be four Sunday morning classes at the Evergreen Community Aquatic Center, you can take just one or two classes if you like but will be limited due to signups for all four classes. There will be enough skilled instructors to accommodate both beginning students and those trying to improve their current rolling skills.

This is a Bring-Your-Own- Boat (WW or SK) program and pre-registration is required. Contact Rhonda Schwab if you have questions at rhondagschwab@comcast.net. If you have questions about your boat and size, please give Rhonda a call.  Boats are limited to WW and/or Sea Kayaking boats.  (Doubles will not work in the pool.)  Sign up quick as this class fills up fast and is limited to 14 paddlers per class.

Event Rules

What to bring: your kayak, (If you are a sea kayaker that is the boat you want to bring, if you are a white-water person bring that boat), paddle, pfd, (life jacket), skirt, paddle float. And your smiles….:)
What to wear: swimsuit or wetsuit, aqua shoes, nose plugs and/or goggles (please do not wear your dry suit as the chorine in the pool will damage them) (nose plugs and/or goggles are important to help you be more comfortable as the chorine will burn your eyes and this can cause for a miserable time in the water.)
What to do before arriving: Make sure your boat is rinsed off with fresh water. If not, the pool does have a hose, we use to rinse the boats off before going in.
Cancellation Policy:
If you have signed up for all four classes and need to cancel. You need to report before 03/20/2023 for a refund the is a cancellation fee of $25.00.
If you cancel after this date, there is a fee of half the total paid.
