Paddling/mountain biking/skiing extravanganza. Options to paddle class II-III runs on the Naches or class III-IV runs on the American, Bumping Little Naches and Rattlesnake creek for advanced boaters. The class III-IV runs are really class III runs with class IV portages because of wood. Will cater trips depending on ability of who signs up and leader will prioritize leading the trips on the easier runs. There is good mountain biking and hiking in the area if you have energy left after running the river. The leader will be going back country skiing at White pass on one of the days between 5/8 and 5/11 (probably 5/11) to be determined by which days people sign up.
We will be meeting up at the confluenece of Bumping river and the American river on 410 and Bumping river road at 10:00am each morning in the parking lot to the American river guard station right at that intersection. Please remember it is unlikely that Chinook pass will be open yet so you have to drive either via Snoqualmie pass or through White pass.
The leader has the American river guard station reserved from 5/7-5/11 and there is room for 4 more folks. Cabin is basic but has heat and wood stove and electricity, kitchen and gas stove and cooking utensils but no running water and pit toilet and parking. Pets are allowed. Sleeping would be in bunks beds in the dorm attic and cost of cabin is $90 a night shared between however many folks (up to 4) sign up. It would be fun to do group meals if there is a core group of people staying for a few of the days.
