WA Park To Bowman Bay -- CANCELLED
A Leisure and scenic paddle to explore Burrows I. Lighthouse, Allen Pass, and Williamson Rocks wildlife refuge. W'ell explore caves, rock gardens and tide pools along the West shore of Fidalgo I. and back to Bowman Bay.
Meet at 8:00 am to set up a car shuttle for this one way trip. The Discovery Pass is required at Deception Pass State Park - Bowman Bay. We plan to Launch at 10 am from Wa Park, for this 9 nm, III-B trip.
Our Launch, N or S, will depend on wind direction. Going S, we'd have a light current push thru Allen Pass. Allen Pass will be at slack going N. We'll have at least two breaks, Lunch, Rest at Burrows I Lighthouse and Biz Pt.

Paddlers must have a dry/wet suit, Spray Skirt, Boat Pump, Paddle Float and PFD. They must be dressed for Winter conditions. Their equipment "should" be in good functioning condition. They "should" know assisted and self rescues and ability to paddle in 2 kts of current, 15 kts wind, and 1-2 foot swells.
