Please a bit arrive early so we are ready when the event starts at 1 pm.
We need about 6 people and 8-10 WW kayaks, paddles.  Stable kayaks that track well, and short paddles are preferred.
We recommend wearing a PFD to set a good example and a helmet because the kids have paddles.
We will be helping kids get in and out of the kayaks, plus swimming beside the kids when needed to coach/push.
Most kids are in the 6-12 year old range, many have never been in a boat.  
We are not officially doing a rolling or tricks demo, but there may be time to play around while we wait for kids to get ready.
Other volunteers will be managing the line and fitting kids with PFDs (pfds provided by the pool).
