Bill Corson of the Outdoor Adventure Center and WKC member will be the primary instructor. This is an all-day training class and will lead to a two-year certification. For those who are interested, he will also offer a 2-day Wilderness First Aid certification class which will cost a bit more and is correspondingly more involved than the one day basic class . The bonus is that he will deduct the cost of the basic from the cost for WFA certification. This will be announced in further detail during the one-day basic class.

 

The class size is 30. Cost is $35 ($55 - $20 Club subsidy) for WKC members and $65 for nonmembers. For non-members, this amounts to $30 towards the $35-Individual or $40-Household WKC annual membership -- you can sign up online for your membership, establish your online member login, and return to register for this class as a member to get the $35 Club price.
