SJ7 - Mystery circumnavigation

Itinerary has changed.  This is now a day trip.

We will ride the big currents.  Not quite sure where. The weather man is totally befuddled and we'll figure out what we can do when he gets his act together. But I have both Lummi and Cyress in mind.  You can help me choose!

This is an advanced trip with fast currents, minor tide rips, eddies, boils, and bumpy conditions on large open fetches. The essence of kayaking.  The miles will go by lickety split with the current ride.

If weather does not allow, the backup plan is to either visit Burrows and Allen island instead, or visit Vendovi on May 1 (opening day) via a short crossing from Youngs Park on the N tip of Guemes.
When:
Sunday, April 24, 2016
Where:
Launch from Washington Park
Anacortes, WA
