Join us for a pre-season paddle to Vendovi Island. We will enjoy its rugged shoreline, established coniferous forests, and the floral richness of its rare indigenous prairie plant communities. The focus of this trip will be to enjoy the spectacular views of this part of the San Juan Islands and photograph early wildflowers. We hope to find the lovely white fawn lily redolent in its full floral splendor and perhaps mid-season beauties such as camas and paintbrush.
