Intermediate Clinic On Big Eddy

Been paddling a while and want to brush up on the basics? Recently completed the intro class and want to step it up a notch? This class might be perfect. We will NOT be teaching the kayak roll, so a good familiarity (and reasonable success rate) is required for this clinic. What we will be working on: basic strokes, ferrying and eddy-catching; beginning surfing on a wave; reading water; drills to help progress your skills. Prerequisites: a reliable pool roll; introductory kayak class or equivalent experience; ability to catch an eddy; ferry across current; a willingness to learn. Instructor has taught WW kayaking since 1999 and has been paddling herself since 1993 in a variety of rivers and conditions.

Saturday, June 30, 2018, 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM
