I don’t know about you but when I paddle as I near the take-out, all I can think is…. I Need a Cookie!

The Cookie Paddle makes sure there are many cookies at the take-out! Four paddlers are shown here December 28, 2025 at Plum Landing on the Snoqualmie. We paddled heartily for two hours working on stroke improvement and smooth ferries. We were rewarded with everyone’s most excellent homemade cookie treats, including this year a Chocolate Mouse with fresh raspberries and whipped cream served in cut crystal. Join us next time! So delicious!

I wanted to thank you for your support of the Nisqually River Cleanup that took place on Saturday, April 2, 2022 and give you a recap of what occurred. This was our third major cleanup of the river, following previous cleanups in 2018 and 2019. Now that the Covid-19 pandemic appears to be subsiding, we hope this will become an annual event.
